Paradise -MUSUBI- (PC) Walkthrough

I was surprised Paradise franchise became my favourite game and I haven't play KIWAME yet BUT I KNOW I'LL LOVE ITT maybe I was deprived of consuming visual novels for many years that I played this fandisk longer than I should have hahaa

Anyways, let's go to the main content, SLIDESHOWS and SPOILERS AHEAD.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE, WHEN AND AFTER PLAYING THIS GAME

-STORYLINE-

This fandisk follows the direct continuation of the main game's happy ending of each partner and offers a few perspectives from them as the main story progresses.

-BEFORE-

You are playing as Azuma (Kitayama Kyousuke), learning about their partners and what it takes to move forward after the incident.

The fandisk breaks into 6 episodes such as below:-

You can pick however you want to read. The "After story" is the continuation of the happy end meanwhile the rest are like a side story. Also, notice the grey-out box under Hongou's option? That one will be unlocked after you read every single story that are available.

-WHEN-

There's not many choices presented in this one. There was like two options presented in Shimada's and Hongou's side story. As usual with PIL/SLASH game, the characters greet you in the main menu and give commentaries in the CG section so have fun load and reload the main menu haha.

-AFTER-

Afer you read all of the characters' side stories, you will unlock the final story. Fun story ahead!

A tour guide of this trip. A man trapped by the mastermind of this whole plan. Sad...

The only choice that appeared in Hongou's side story; do you believe in Hongou knows the real culprit or do you suspect that Hongou is the real culprit?

Do this and you'll get:

Up (you know the culprit)

GOOD END - azuma shows that he trusted hongou, hongou buys some time for azuma to escape with the helicopter

Down (are you the culprit)

BAD END - doubted hongou, both of them get killed by someone or something

"A man who loves sweets are kind people, I think."

Hongou, a victim of circumstance.... I'm sad for him to be honest....

"You treated me as an equal. Even though I'm a useless tour guide..."

DON'T SAY THAT YOU HAD NO CHOICE MAANNNN.

"Can't we all just work together?"

This will be explored in KIWAME, I think. So let's hope for the best!

Shimada (voiced by Okazaki Masahiro)

A freelance photographer. A man looking for exquisite subject to photograph...

The only choice that appeared in Shimada's side story; do you left Shimada and go save Hongou or do you try to stop Shimada from entering the forest?

Do this and you'll get:

Up (I’m going to help hongou)

GOOD END - azuma tried to save hongou but it’s too late, escape the island with shimada

Down (stop shimada)

BAD END - try stopping shimada from entering the forest but shimada insist on going there, azuma left alone waiting at the pier, get killed

Shimada-san is grinning. An idyllic smile that devoid of any malice or ill-intention.

You had no idea, Azuma. You had no idea....

..... Even since what happened yesterday, this guy had become a lot meaner than before.

You had a rough luck, Azuma. Your remaining ally is scary as well...

This guy pretending to be a smart one, but he's actually an idiot.
Who would bring a camera at this situation?

Shimada is just that dedicated to his job, what to do man.

"To have that guy roaming around the island--
I don't think I see the future where we get off this island."

...Boy, that's bleak.

I do wish to bring this camera to the main island, but--

And the scene cuts to black, signifying that thing found Azuma and killed him. SADIST.

Mitsugi story (voiced by Sasanuma Akira)

AFTER STORY

"You're my favourite weirdo."

MY FAVOURITE BLOND ANGEL OH MY GOD I WOULD DIE FOR YOU-

In the after story, Azuma lives with Mitsugi on weekends, helping with chores and cooking. Azuma said he felt like a housewife lol. Also they both wanted to find out more about the whole trip to the island so Mitsugi using his big Game of Life card and requested his President to do some digging (powerful move lmao)

I don't really understand him, he acts cold most of the time,
and then he gets all sweet like this, which is really annoying.

Awww Mitsugi really fell for Azuma and willing to share his other side I'm cryinggg

I'm the one who suggested this new hairstyle to him.

THANK YOU GOD BLESS YOU AZUMA FOR GIVING ME PONYTAILED MITSUGI

It's just a hairstyle, but I'm happy to have an influence in Mitsugi's life.

OH MY GOD YOU TWO PLEASE GET MARRIED ALREADY

"Oh, this is your favourite guy, Azuma-kun?
Quite a handsome man, just like what I've heard."

I'm imagining that Mitsugi being boastful about his partner the whole office knew about Azuma lmao

"Hmm, Azuma-kun is really thoughtful. A nice match with that lazy Mitsugi-san."

CRYING ON THE FLOOR

OKAY CONTINUE WITH THE STORY!-

Azuma gets to know more about Mitsugi's father figure, Kotohara-san. And then both of them pay a visit to his grave. And then finally, FINALLY we get to hear a confession from Mitsugi to Azuma wHICH IS FUCKING ADORABLE I'M DYING--

I'm, uh., Mitsugi's lover.... I think. I'm not sure about it though.

YOU GUYS ARE PRACTICALLY MARRIED ALREADY DAGNABIT

"If Kotohara-san knew about me going out with a man,
he'd be sure to foam from his mouth and faint."

I'm sure Kotohara-san will understand~

Dammit, I'm so happy. I see. Mitsugi really likes me.

AAAAAAAAAAAAA I'M RIPPING MY HAIR OUT YOU GUYS SO PRECIOUSS

My heart was filled with emotions. I feel I could burst into
tears at this moment right now.

ME TOO AZUMA, LET'S CRY TOGETHER

AND THEN SUDDENLY. TAKARA APPEARED IN A WHITE VAN, demanding both of them to meet with him at a building. So things get tense for a bit.

Takara spilled the tea the purpose of the island trip, which is to kill the descendants of the Japanese soldiers who executed Takara's family back in the days. Also, Takara mentioned SO CASUALLY that his family was the one who drove Mitsugi's parents to suicide.

Also, Takara warned Mitsugi's President to stop snooping on his family or things will gets ugly. Which, the President respond by transferring Mitsugi and Azuma to an undisclosed overseas location.

We realised we were more powerless than we thought.
In the end, we might not be able to change anything.

I can't imagine to live like that, being hunted until you die.

So both of them prepared to move out. And Azuma found an old picture of Mitsugi and I DID NOT EXPECT TO SEE THIS LMAOO

SHORT HAIRED MITSUGI? NOT IN MY BINGO CARD LMAOOO

MITSUGI'S PERSPECTIVE IN MAIN GAME

So in this part offers few of Mitsugi's perspective during main game; from the day they travelled to the island, when things got escalated quickly after they realised they're stranded on an abandoned island, and one of the bad endings...

This brown-haired guy looks like Kotohara-san.

Mitsugi's reality changed when he met Azuma who looked like his mentor....

I don't want to stick with you.

Yeah, things about to change drastically so buckle up.

And weirdly, Mitsugi who hated Azuma's guts, started to feel strange whenever he saw Azuma.

This strange feeling is close to what I think is a sexual desire--

Finally, he realised what that feeling was. Which is strange because he still hates Azuma at this point lol

Who is this guy actually? Why I'm lusting over him?

This internal turmoil went on for few days. Azuma was still clueless on why Mitsugi treated him that way.

This one happened in one of the bad endings where Azuma went mad and killed everyone but Mitsugi.

I can't trust you, but I cannot just abandon you.
I can't help but to feel angry.

Yeah, conflicting feelings I get it.

AND THIS SCENE HAPPENED AFTER AZUMA COMMITTED SUICIDE, LEAVING MITSUGI TO DEAL WITH HIS BODY--

I stand at this cliff, Azuma is lying behind me.
Not having any nightmare, just resting peacefully.

If I were to mourn Azuma, this will be a good place. I think.

I looked down, my vision blurred, clouded by my tears.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SO PAINFULLLLLL

AND ALSO ALSO, MITSUGI HAD AN INKLING OF WHO TRAPPED THEM ALL IN THIS ISLAND QUITE EARLY ON--

The mastermind-- is probably him.

--AND IT SHOWED TAKARA'S SILHOUETTE WHICH IS HOLY SHIT YOU WERE SO RIGHT

Matsuda (voiced by Furukawa Makoto)

AFTER STORY

You're overprotective and a caring man, but also
a domestic abuser that loves me. That's al I need.

In this after story, Azuma moves in with Matsuda. Matsuda keeps reaching out to any officials requesting a rescue to the people left on the island but to no avail, no one really responded back. Azuma struggles to get back to the society as he keeps hearing Matsuda's nightmare of feeling guilty in killing Kido.

We also get to learn why Matsuda is like that; an aggressive man. Which, ok I get it but that doesn't excuse to whatever shit things you've done to Azuma. But I'm not here to judge.

"I don't want to be distracted anymore by that shitty event from that shitty island!"

It's hard to rebound back in society after all of that happened...

Kido-san. Return Matsuda back to me.
You go ahead and died, then took a piece of Matsuda's soul with you.
That was mine.

Damn, these two had it rough.

There's so little thing that can be done by a regular salaryman and a part-timer.

It's refreshing to see an average men presented in a game. But also, sorry you have no power...

While Azuma was lamenting about what can be done about the island, he saw Takara smiling at him. SO he chases Takara down and Takara instructed he and Matsuda to meet him at a building.

Takara spilled the tea the purpose of the island trip, which is to kill the descendants of the Japanese soldiers who executed Takara's family back in the days.

"It's an embarrassment for the mastermind to arrive late.
What am I gonna do--?"

AND THEN OUT OF NOWHERE, Takara suggested both Azuma and Matsuda to escape from Japan and live in an undisclosed foreign country. This is because Matsuda kept his promise of calling for help for the people who were left at the island so Takara wanted to help them as well.

Oh, and the cause of Kido's death was not by Matsuda, but rather Takara who fed him a bottle of poison before his death. So Matsuda was so relieved he cried, no longer feeling guilty :')

So they both prepared to move out. But not before having a last drink party with Azuma's best colleague, Ogino.

Seems like Gorilla and Hamster are not planning to get along. Whatever.

Ah yes, a start of a great frienemy.

"....Ah, perhaps Matsuda is jealous of him."

I'm sure Ogino is fine~ Nothing to worry about~

And then, they all had a drink. Azuma fell asleep. The Matsuda asked something so casually to Ogino, "Do you like Azuma?" in which Ogino replies "Yes."

UNREQUITED LOVE HOLY SHIT SO SAD TO MY BOY OGINOOOO

"I regret of not joining Azuma-senpai camping to that island.
Then I'd be able to get involved in "whatever" you guys had."

NO, YOU WOULD BE GLAD TO NOT JOIN THE ISLAND TRIP.

MATSUDA'S PERSPECTIVE IN MAIN GAME

So in this part offers few of Matsuda's perspective during main game; from the day they travelled to the island, when Matsuda is in charge of the ration distribution, and his dark urges whenever he sees Azuma...

You just can't trust people who just beat people up. That's common sense.

Sad that no one believed in him that Kido was stealing food from the storage. But yeah he is aggressive...

But then someone believed in him. It was Azuma.

His usual relaxed and cheeky expression was now in serious mode.
He looked-- surprisingly handsome.

Ah yes, smitten by Azuma.

He flashed a smile that made me feel everything will be fine as long as he is here.

This is genuinely a heartfelt scene. CONSIDERING WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE NEXT SCENE WADAFAKKK--

Did I ever think of how I treated Azuma however I like, forcing my feelings to him,
and satisfying my own sexual desire on him?

The thing is, he was aware of the bad things that he did on Azuma but he just, can't stop it. Dammit I really want to punch some senses to him.

I like you. That I know it already. But we can't be together.

Dammit there's got to be another way to solve thissss

Being hungry increases your sex drive. It's a well-established theory.
And what's more, the person that you like is sleeping so defenselessly next to you.

Just give him a nice kiss on the cheek is fine too?! You don't have to do that to show your feelings hokayyyy

This guy! I wanted to ruffle his head and hug him as hard as I can.

Ok this is cute.

But I won't be fooled. Somehow I have the gut feeling that this was not how he really thinks.

Even Matsuda have a hunch that Takara was behind all of this. Interesting...

Takara (voiced by Nogami Shou)

AFTER STORY

"We eat and kill people, but we're not bad people.
That's the only think I wanted you guys to think of us."

In this after story, Azuma, Takara, Mitsugi and Matsuda were all migrated to an undisclosed foreign country which is hinted to be probably South East Asia. They were working and living a decent life, not to attract Takara's family attention. But secretly Takara has been contacting his butler to know the whereabouts of his family.

Meanwhile, I have an immense gratitude towards Takara...
Thank you for killing my parents.

I hope you all still remember that AZUMA WAS ABUSED BY HIS PARENTS DURING CHILDHOOD BY NOT GIVING HIM FOOD BUT RATHER FEED HIM WITH ROTTEN VEGETABLES.

God, Azuma really had a rough upbringing but he remains silly. Mad respect.

"What's so exciting about bath time?"

Kids will be kids and all that haha.

"Up until now I still don't know how I feel about Azuma,
whether it's love, appetite or friendship."

You'll get there eventually, I believe in you.

"After all, I'm still Takara. No matter how much fun I'm having here
I still need to return to my place, to my home."

So, you can't really run away from this lifestyle, huh? Sadge.

For that, Takara wanted to go back to Japan and make a deal with his father about leaving them for good. Then Azuma did an Azuma thing and decided to follow Takara as well eVEN THOUGH TAKARA WAS SO AGAINST IT.

"It's better to regret trying than regret of not trying."

Ok, yeah you're right. Can't argue with that...

Then they arrive at the transit airport. But then, something is weird. Takara's brother was waiting for him. Turns out Takara's brother (i forgor his name) had killed Takara's butler and obtained all the information about Takara's plan :oo

They had a fight, Azuma runs away, and then he bumped onto a foreigner man. Who seems familiar....

"Hey hey, it's dangerous to act so violently. I wonder how your parents raised you."

IT WAS TAKARA'S FATHER, THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN THE WORLD AND AZUMA IS STUCK WITH HIM

Panic ensues and got some escape via a helicopter.

"That's how my family is. Revenge comes first. It's weird."

Even Takara admitting his family is odd.

Then Takara learned his true feeling towards Azuma and then they did a small wedding ceremony awww

TAKARA'S PERSPECTIVE IN MAIN GAME

So in this part offers few of Takara's perspective during main game; from the day Takara captured Azuma, how Azuma was his from the beginning, and whenever Azuma is in other character's route, Takara knows...

The vegetable eating scene is back, haunting us....

A relationship such as "good friend" is just an illusion. Azuma and I were not meant for that.

Come to think of it, Takara's a victim of circumstances as well? He basically in a cult?

After living in such an oppressive childhood, how can you smile like that with a man so violent?

Azuma doesn't know that yet T_T

Azuma's face illuminated by the light in the room, smiling.
--He didn't smile like that to me.

Uh oh, yandere trait unlocked...

Azuma nodded in agreement, but his gaze---
it's following Mitsugi, who heads towards the log house.

Made me think that every decision that we made, Takara is five steps ahead...

SPECIAL STORY UNLOCKED!

After you read all of the stories and cried a few times, you'll be presented with this popup, stating that the extra story is now open and available!

It's basically the same but it's far more cheerful and happy, vacation on an island! Yippee!

After unloading their bags, the gang decided to play volleyball, and now to divide them into two teams:-

Team Fish and Team Meat. The name are suggested by Takara.
I think he's hungry.

Classic Takara move.

Presenting: Team Fish!!:

MATSUDA, TAKARA, AND MITSUGI!!!

Presenting: Team Meat!!:

HONGOU, AZUMA, AND SHIMADA!!!

So, they play volleyball. The losing team must make dinner for the day. The stakes (or steaks) are high!

Funny thing is, Mitsugi doesn't know how to play and Shimada is busy capturing the moment haha

I went swimming with Matsuda, smashing watermelons with Takara,
drawing doodles on sand with Mitsugi---

In the end, Team Meat loses the game. So, guided by Hongou, Azuma and Shimada help to prepare a Japanese sushi dinner.

--This island feels like a paradise.

It truly is a paradise.

But then, Azuma wakes up. It was all just a dream. Azuma dreamt of the island trip a day before going to the real trip.

"I think I also saw the people who joined the tour as well...
can't remember their faces though. It's just a dream, after all."

Saddddd.

"I hope it's a fun island. Just like my dream."

Funny you said that. FUNNY YOU ACTUALLY SAID THAT--
